Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Work Experiences:
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Experience in merchant processing or treasury operations preferred
- Experience with Private Label Credit Card & Co-Brand Credit Card preferred
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations for merchant services Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Zezzle, Klarna, Academy Credit Card/BreadPay/Bread Financial Services, Merchant Processors (Paymentech / Wells Fargo Merchant Services/Fiserv), and Gift Card Service providers (Fiserv, Blackhawk, InComm)
- Perform monthly tender, chargeback, and interchange fee analysis for all tender types, evaluating trends and partnering with appropriate internal and external teams to evaluate opportunities for improvements.
- Participate in regular and ad hoc meetings with Merchant Services partners and assist with preparation for quarterly and yearly reviews.
- Partner with internal and external teams to analyze Academy Credit Card performance and identify strategies to drive improvement.
- Assist in preparing meeting presentations for credit card Steering Committees and Operating Committees, partnering with key participants (Marketing, eCom, Store Ops, Finance). Capture and assist with delivering action items identified in meetings.
- Coordinate delivery of Academy Credit Card brochures with internal and external teams.
- Assist with New Store Set Up for all merchant services including New Merchant IDs for all merchant service providers, Gift Card IDs, set up of the Academy Credit Card, and new Station Numbers for check acceptance. Share merchant ID information with the appropriate internal and external partners. Partner with internal and external teams to resolve any MID issues.
- Assist with cash vault and armored courier set-up at new stores and partner with internal and external teams to resolve any vault or courier issues at stores.
