Advanced Control Solutions & Automation, Inc., (advancedcontrolinc.com) a leading solutions provider for world-class manufacturers of industrial automation products and services and subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies is currently recruiting for a Inside Sales Specialist.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide quotes to customers from our general request email box.
  • Conduct outbound calls to qualify sales and marketing generated inbound leads
  • Mine prospect data and research accounts to identify, contact, and reach key targets
  • Support respective sales team members to set priorities and advance sales opportunities
  • Drive registrations and attendance to online and offline events; support special campaigns
  • Develop a regimented lead follow up schedule and report on progress / success
  • Track all activities and customer interactions; enter the complete information into CRM
  • Learn and understand the commercial benefits and value propositions of all products
  • Help improve marketing effectiveness and sales efficiency by relaying feedback pro-actively

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience in sales
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of costing, pricing, sales practices, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
  • Requires ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of industrial automation products
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Familiar with technical product applications, demonstrations, and customer relations
  • Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude
  • Detail oriented with strong listening skills
  • Possess a solid work ethic and team player mentality
