Responsabilités :

  • Réviser les provisions d'impôt canadiennes mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles, incluant le support aux vérificateurs externes.
  • Réviser et gérer la préparation des déclarations fiscales canadiennes (T5013, T2, T4A-NR , etc.).
  • Gérer les vérifications fiscales canadiennes.
  • Coordonner la préparation des réclamations de RS&DE avec les consultants externes.
  • Effectuer des recherches et analyses fiscales, et documenter les positions fiscales des entités canadiennes;
  • Réviser et maintenir une documentation des contrôles internes des entités canadiennes.
  • Suivre les développements législatifs fiscaux et évaluer l'impact sur les opérations d'Alcoa.
  • Fournir un soutien fiscal aux opérations canadiennes.

Profil recherché :

  • Baccalauréat en Finance, Comptabilité ou dans une discipline pertinente au poste.
  • Maîtrise en fiscalité ou équivalent.
  • Membre de l'Ordre Professionnelle des CPA, un atout.
  • Un minimum de 10 années d'expérience en conformité fiscale.

Nous recherchons un candidat avec :

  • Fortes compétences en comptabilité fiscale et connaissance des GAAP US.
  • Bilingue - Français et Anglais.
  • Fortes aptitudes relationnelles et capacités d'organisation.
  • Autonomie et Fiabilité.
  • Compétence en Word, Excel et Taxprep.
  • Connaissances en prix de transfert et taxes à la consommation, un atout.
  • Expérience avec Oracle, Connected Planning et Onesource, un atout.

Ready to take on an exciting challenge?

Alcoa is hiring a Tax Manager to join our dynamic and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review monthly, quarterly and annual Canadian income tax provisions, including support to external auditors.
  • Review and manage the preparation of Canadian income tax returns (T5013, T2, T4A-NR , etc.).
  • Manage Canadian corporate income tax audits.
  • Coordinate the preparation of SR&ED claims with external consultants.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis, and document tax positions of Canadian entities.
  • Review and maintain documentation of internal controls of Canadian entities.
  • Monitor tax legislative developments and assess impacts on Alcoa operations.
  • Provide tax business support to Canadian operations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or in a discipline relevant to the position.
  • Master's degree in taxation or equivalent.
  • Member of CPA Professional Order, an asset.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in tax accounting and compliance.

We are seeking someone with :

  • Strong tax accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Bilingual – French and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Autonomous and reliable.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Taxprep.
  • Experience with Oracle, Connected Planning and Onesource, an asset.
