About the Role:
Alcoa has opportunities for enthusiastic, proactive, and experienced All Round Mining Operators at our Willowdale Bauxite Mine located south of Perth near Waroona. Opportunities include permanent contracts, fixed-term contracts, or become part of our future talent pool.
In accordance with our current WA Operations AWU Enterprise Agreement, the starting salary is $79,382 plus 14% super working a 36-hour week. Shift allowances are applicable if you are on one of the 10.3-hour or 12-hour rosters.

What can you bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success you will have:
Experience operating the following equipment: Komatsu PC3400 & PC2000 Large Excavator, CAT 993 Loader, D10 & D11 Dozer, CAT 16 & 18 Grader, CAT 637 Scraper and Komatsu 730E Trucks
5+ relevant industry experience in Mining Operations
Demonstrated commitment to a ‘safety first' culture
Self-motivation to work semi-autonomous in a small dynamic team
Problem solving ability and good initiative
A strong team focus where you support and encourage your crew
WA HR Drivers Licence

About the Location
Willowdale is one of our two bauxite mines in Western Australia, and is located in the Darling Scarp east of Waroona and Cookernup. It supplies bauxite ore to the Wagerup Alumina Refinery via a direct overland conveying system and helps to produce almost half of Australia's alumina and approximately 19 per cent of Australia's aluminium.
