About the Role
We're excited to offer a rare opportunity for a passionate and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Bunbury Port.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll be instrumental in guiding and developing a high-performing team. You'll mentor team members to reach their full potential, manage contractor groups, and ensure the highest standards of maintenance and operational practices are consistently met. Your leadership will help drive the team toward achieving ambitious goals across all facets of the Port.
You'll serve as a key problem-solver, addressing both technical and team challenges by identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions. This role also involves planning and executing preventative and project maintenance, coordinating shipping operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. You'll also enjoy valuable networking opportunities with our marketing team and alumina refineries at Wagerup and Pinjarra.
As a champion of continuous improvement, you'll lead the implementation of business system enhancements, support team-driven innovation through suggestion schemes, and embed global initiatives into local practices. Auditing and refining standardised work processes will also be a core part of your responsibilities.
We're looking for someone who can provide strong leadership and the right support systems to empower individuals and teams to deliver on our business plan and continuously improve performance.

What you can bring to the role
Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification
Solid leadership experience within a similar environment and industry.
A strong dedication to safety.
A natural ability to prioritise resources.
Plenty of initiative and self-motivation and will thrive on working with minimal supervision.
The ability to build strong working relationships with numerous and varied partners both within the business and with external companies.
You should hold or be willing to complete Schedule 26 - Statutory Supervisor accreditation. Alcoa will provide support in obtaining accreditation.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership position or have worked in a similar operation or industry to Alcoa.
