About the Role

Seeking an opportunity to take your career to the next level and ready to make a lasting first impression for our visitors and colleagues alike? We're looking for a people-focused and organised professional to join the team and be the welcoming heart of our brand new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Perth.

As our Office & Reception Administrator, you will help shape the daily rhythm of a forward-thinking workplace and will be the go-to person for reception and customer support. You'll ensure smooth operations within our corporate office, providing high-level administrative support while assisting the HR team with essential tasks. In addition to playing a key role in managing office services and supporting workplace culture initiatives, you will also support with:

  • Assisting and ensuring a positive inbound and outbound employee and visitor experience.

  • Event planning and support for the office including arranging catering.

  • Ensuring facilities and meeting rooms are maintained for both equipment and supplies.

  • Contributing to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and office service standards.

  • Managing an effective system for mail distribution and locker system support and administering building access security processes.

What you can bring to the role

  • Previous experience in a similar corporate reception role with proven ability to support multiple stakeholders in office management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, adaptability to new technologies, and ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.

  • A collaborative approach to working effectively across all levels of an organisation, with a strong initiative and ability to solve problems efficiently.

  • Strong customer focus, exceptional presentation and communication skills.

  • Completion of Year 12 Secondary School with an additional professional training college qualification would be highly desirable.

About the Location

Alcoa Australia is currently located in Booragoon, WA, but will be relocating to the western end of St Georges Terrace in Perth CBD in Q3 2025. The Booragoon office is situated on Whadjuk Noongar land, 16 kilometres away from Perth's CBD. The office is situated next to Garden City and hosts employees from across several business units, including Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, Communications, Human Resources and the Global Refinery of the Future team.
