About the role:
Alcoa is looking for an ambitious and driven Procurement Transformation Specialist who will be a member of a small team that is accountable for the digital transformation of the Alcoa Procurement function. The incumbent leads or contributes to an ongoing program of projects to achieve the target condition defined in Alcoa's Procurement Digital Roadmap. These activities involve system implementation projects, supplier enablement projects, continuous improvement, and ongoing support. Systems include but are not limited to; sourcing and contracting solutions (Source to Contract), electronic supplier catalogue system (Alcoa Buy) and electronic document exchange with suppliers (B2B), transportation solutions of service providers such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, DocuSign, FourKites, etc.
Main responsibilities:
- System Engineering of Procurement Saas Solutions – SAP Ariba, Coupa, Fairmarkit, DocuSign CLM, etc.
- Analyze current condition procurement and supply chain systems and processes
- Perform external benchmarking to identify best practices to contribute to Alcoa Procurement's Digital Roadmap.
- Perform gap analysis between Alcoa Procurement's current condition and its Digital Roadmap. Propose specific projects to close the gap between current and target condition.
- Lead specific workstreams on large transformation projects, and overall project management of smaller projects
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with internal and external customers.
Requrements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in implementing or supporting Procurement and Supply Chain systems and processes, preferably including Oracle Req-to-Pay and Ariba Source-to-Pay.
- Fluency in English and the language of local Alcoa operations (French or Spanish are an advantage)
- Strong analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills (ability to "sell" concepts, ideas and goals; stakeholder/ customer management)
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at different organization levels from peers through to Vice President level
- Self-confidence, collaboration, customer focus, results orientation, attention to detail are absolutely essential.
