About the Role:

Alcoa Warrick has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team, execute tactical functions and ensure they're aligned with our business goals. The responsibilities will require you to apply broad knowledge of business administration and hands-on experience with proven results in several of the following functions:

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all stakeholders;
  • Plan and execute work scheduling in a timely manner;
  • Oversee, perform or assist with a variety of administrative duties including administering overtime, processing payroll, system transactions and record keeping;
  • Collect and analyze trends and metrics;
  • Assist with data entry and audits;
  • Work closely with Human Resources, as well as Department Leaders and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention;
  • Provide support to Employee Engagement activities;
  • Provide support to Training and Development initiatives;
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for processes including ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and timeliness as well as accuracy of required reporting.

What you can bring to the role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced analytical and basic MS Excel skills
  • Availability to work 4pm to midnight. There is a potential that this role may move to a rotating 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am rotation, so must be flexible and able to move to that if the department ends up making that change.
