Our practice, located in the southeastern section of the State of Washington, where sunshine rules nature alongside the Columbia and Snake river system is a delightful place to practice your profession. The city of Pasco forms an alliance with its sister cities of Kennewick and Richland and it's serviced by 2 major hospitals, Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Trios Healthcare. The area, known locally as the TriCities, is the fastest growing area of the State of Washington and affords families exceptional schools, sports activities on all levels for children, and plenty of restaurants and recreation. Total area population as of 2023 is 316,000. We need CNM's. 

Under indirect supervision, manages women's health care, focusing primarily on pregnancy, childbirth, the post-partum period, care of the newborn, and the family planning and gynecologic needs of women. Practice within the health care system and perform consultation, collaborative management, or referral, as indicated by the health status of the client. Generally, practice in accord with the Standards for the Practice of Midwifery, as defined by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. The ideal candidate will have duties and responsibilities for: 

Provide direct prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and/or well women patient services and primary care to low-to-moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients. 

Participates in the education of medical, midwifery, nursing students, clinical staff, residents, fellows, peers and others. 

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. May be required to work on-call or on continuous roster on a 24-hour, 7-day basis. 

Assisting during cesarean sections.

This is a FULL TIME position. The needs of this private practice necessitates an in office workday of 4.5 days per week and the subsequent management of your pregnant patients. You will also share a call schedule with the other providers. PLEASE do not apply if you are looking for part time work. The emphasis and assistance from the office will be for you to establish your own patient panel. 

 

Furthermore, the candidate will have graduated from an accredited CNM program and have at least 1 year of experience, which may include practicum. CPR certified. WA state licensed.
