THE ROLE:
As an AMD Graduate Trainee, you'll work alongside experts and industry pioneers, contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and expand your professional network. You'll be enrolled in a 12-month program designed to launch your career and build practical experience. Top performers may be considered for conversion to permanent employees upon successful completion of the program.
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Program Type: Full-time Graduate Trainee Program
Program Duration: 12 months
Program Start Date: December 7, 2026
Eligibility: Recent graduates who completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree within one year of the program start date.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up
- Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
- Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement
- Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++
- Logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug
- Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS
- Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics
- AI/HPC software stacks, ROCm, TensorFlow or Pytorch is a plus with regards to AI application
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in electrical & electronics engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines
