AMD's Server Automation team are currently seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing Azure infrastructure solutions to support our growing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Azure ecosystem, including Azure DevOps, and a proven track record in deploying scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Work extensively with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure EventHub, Azure Database, and Azure Networking.
• Develop and maintain containerization strategies using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement and manage Azure Private Endpoints and other networking solutions within the Azure environment.
• Create, manage, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide Azure-based solutions.
• Ensure all Azure solutions follow security best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features and technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Document all Azure architecture and infrastructure designs, including DevOps processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure design and management.
• Strong understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proficient in Azure Networking, specifically Azure Private Endpoints.
• Experience with Azure Database technologies and an understanding of database concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure MySQL or similar database technologies.
• Proven experience in creating, managing, and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer, Azure Administrator).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of network security and compliance standards.
