THE ROLE:
The Business Development Manager entails responsibilities for working with ISVs, and multipal internal team such as marketing and sales team to develop business and marketing strategies that compliment AMD's initiatives; as well as enabling product development in building AMD's software ecosystem. Candidate will evangelize AMD technology, create, and track marketing programs success and enable OEMs/ODMs sale teams through training. In this highly collaborative role, you will work with engineering, product marketing, finance, legal and executive teams.
THE PERSON:
We are looking for a person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Someone that can work independently as well as part of a team. They will have a combination of both technical and business background to optimally align with account teams, work across organizational business units and teams, drive decisions and deliver business and programs. With outstanding organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple priorities. Will have the ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish new and maitain exsit relations with AMD AI software partners across the nation
- Have the insights to create business and tehcnical alignment with AMD AI software partners
- Have great neigociation skills to prusvade ISV partners achieve win-win goal for both parties
- Articulate the benefits of AMD based technology
- Partner with other AMD subject matter authorities to tackle specific customer challenges
- Gather a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and clearly articulate the differentiation and value proposition associated with AMD versus or competitors
- Build a portfolio and target market strategy for AMD partners to grow AMD share and brand consideration
- Serve as a product, technology and market authority to AMD OEMs/ODMs customers and ISVs
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Rich working experience in AI industry, better having great understanding from both software and hardware
- Proven business development, technical sales, product management, or product marketing experience
- Market, portfolio, financial and strategic analysis
- Strong presentation abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Master's degree in related discipline preferred
