The Chief of Staff acts as a strategic and operational partner to site and executive leadership, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong governance, and effective execution of leadership priorities. The role connects strategy, people, and operations, with particular ownership of site management and executive support.  

This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities  

Executive & leadership partner & LT Ops 

• Ownership of Silo LT forums, coordinating agendas and participants, facilitation as needed  
• Provide direct executive support, incl preparation of materials, follow-ups, and coordination across functions.  
• Drive executive reporting, ensuring leadership has clear, timely, and actionable insights.  
• Enable effective internal information sharing and communication on Silo-wide business topics, including coordinating and preparing quarterly Silo All-hands sessions and business updates 
• Orchestrate and support change management initiatives across the site or organization.  
• AMD Exec visit content and schedule coordination 

Headcount & Budget planning & coordination 

• Coordination of budgeting and headcount planning, including tracking, forecasting, and alignment with strategic priorities.  
• Support organizational design and evolution, including site organizational structure, in collaboration with HR partners and Silo organization.  
• Collaboration with AIG finance on HC, budget or other related topics 

Silo Site leadership & Site Admin team management 

• Act as the Silo Site Lead, including coordinating and supporting site leadership activities and decision-making forums.  
• Oversee the Silo Site Admin team and activities ensuring reliable and compliant operations, including:  
  • Facilities & office management  
  • Equipment 
  • Finance administration including local Accounts Payable operations  
  • Legal entity administration to ensure alignment with local requirements and corporate standards. 
  • Internal events that support leadership engagement, culture, and communication.  
  • AMD Exec visit practical organization  
• Local HR related tasks coordination as needed, incl being company representative for Shop steward discussions 

Key skills  

• Strong operational and organizational skills with high attention to detail  
• Ability to work closely with senior leaders and handle confidential information  
• Experience with budgeting, headcount planning, and reporting  
• Change management  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills  
• Comfortable operating across people, operations, finance and strategy
