This role is inherently cross-discipline in nature as you will interact regularly with many different teams and functions including platform applications engineering, ecosystem enabling, product management, business segment, sales, field applications engineering, and core internal engineering teams. You must have a solid foundation in server engineering, have successfully delivered products in mass production, and be willing and able to quickly learn key aspects of the technology in order to be conversant and effective in new areas with minimal ramp time. You also possess outstanding people skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers.

  • Act as a customer advocate internally to ensure customer needs are comprehended and appropriately factored into operations and decision-making.
  • Build a broad and deep network across accounts to ensure open lines of communication and foster collaboration. Utilize relationships and frequent interactions to sense potential problems early, triangulate with counterparts in sales and business segment teams, and address issues proactively.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to partner more closely with customers in support of mutual objectives such as co-design, co-validation, or new and different working models.
