THE PERSON:
Are you a dynamic sales leader with a passion for helping global enterprise customers address their critical technology challenges? Do you thrive on driving strategic initiatives and building lasting relationships with leaders at top-tier clients and Global System Integrators (GSIs)?
AMD is seeking a leader to organize and drive Sales focused on a defined set of enterprise customers, driving adoption of AMD Server / AI / Client hardware as part of the solution.
THE ROLE:
In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of AMD's expansion with top global enterprises. You'll engage directly with customers to translate complex technical solutions into compelling business value, empowering customers to leverage solutions that include AMD's advanced technology platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trusted Advisor: Engage with CIO / CTO level executives and key stakeholders at leading enterprise customers understanding their critical challenges and positioning AMD's solutions to drive tangible results.
- Orchestrate Strategic Partnerships: Forge strong alliances with GSIs, ensuring seamless integration of AMD's technology into their enterprise solutions.
- Lead the Charge in Solution Validation: Collaborate closely with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to conduct rigorous Proof of Concepts (POCs) and testing, establishing clear success criteria and outcomes.
- Shape the Product Roadmap: Act as the voice of the customer with the various BUs, bridging the gap between key customers' needs and AMD's product development teams.
- Partnership with Marketing: Drive the technical plays that are needed to accelerate in key market segments.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Define and execute aggressive sales strategies that capture market share and propel AMD's revenue in.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise selling to “Global 200” top enterprises across industries.
- Technical Prowess: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions, particularly within high performance computing, and data center solutions.
- Sales Strategy: A proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies that drive significant profitable revenue growth.
- Relationship Maestro: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Chip to System Solution Sales Expertise: Experience selling solutions / systems that include hardware and software
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred
