Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop, and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Utilize tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline and automate the software development lifecycle.
- Code Repository Management: Optimize and manage code repositories using Git, Perforce, or other version control systems.
- Python Application Development: Develop and integrate Python applications, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, including optimizing deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other cloud platforms.
- Database and Logging Systems: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and familiarity with logging and search systems like the ELK stack.
- System Performance Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability using tools such as Grafana and related monitoring/alerting solutions.
- Infrastructure Automation: Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Requirements:
- DevOps Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on CI/CD, automation, and the DevOps culture.
- Python Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Tool Expertise: Extensive experience with Jira (for project management), Git (for version control), Jenkins, and GitHub Actions (for CI/CD).
- Containerization Skills: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including implementation, maintenance, and scaling.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- University degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their native DevOps services.
- Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Front-End Development: Experience in working on front-end development using frameworks like React or Angular.
