THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a highly motivated Endpoint Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA. As an Endpoint Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the endpoint infrastructure at our organization, with a focus on PowerShell and scripting within the context of Windows 10, 11, Mac, SCCM, MECM, Intune, JAMF, and experience with AMD platform support (Ryzen, Radeon). Additionally, experience with Digital Experience Monitoring tools such as Nexthink, Lakeside, or Aternity where remote actions and remediation are required to impact end-user experience will be a plus. Also, experience in Security software application deployment and patching, and management of a lab environment are key differentiators. 

THE PERSON:

Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently.  You will work closely with other IT teams and business units to ensure the highest level of endpoint functionality and security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design, implement, and optimize endpoint infrastructure components and management policies for Windows 10, 11, Mac, SCCM, MECM, Intune, and JAMF environments.
• Develop, test and deploy PowerShell scripts for automating tasks associated with endpoint management policies and digital experience monitoring.
• Work with the team to analyze endpoint infrastructure and identify areas for improvement, enhancements and standardization.
• Lead projects related to endpoint engineering, developing project plans, and providing input and recommendations to management.
• Ensure endpoint security through patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening, including the deployment and patching of security software applications.
• Work closely with user support teams to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint-related issues.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for endpoint engineering, providing input and recommendations to other IT teams and business units.
• Manage a lab environment to conduct testing and evaluations of endpoint infrastructure, software, and other IT systems.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience in endpoint engineering required, with a focus on PowerShell and scripting within the context of Windows 10, 11, Mac, SCCM, MECM, Intune, and JAMF.
• Experience with AMD platform support (Ryzen, Radeon) is a plus.
• Intune Mobile Device Management is a plus.
• Experience with digital experience monitoring tools such as Nexthink, Lakeside, or Aternity will be a plus.
• Knowledge of endpoint security concepts, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening, as well as experience with security software application deployment and patching.
• Management and administration experience of a lab environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
