  • Run and optimize training and inference workloads using AI frameworks.

  • Analyze system and software configurations and compare performance with competitors.

  • Create documentation such as tuning guides, whitepapers, internal and external training materials.

  • Collaborate with teams across AMD including GPU BU, Engineering, Software, and Product Development to gather field feedback and drive improvements.

  • Develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to support pricing discussions.

  • Own technical issues reported by customers and partners, manage JIRA tickets, and drive resolution.

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience executing AI training and inference workloads on GPU platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, and familiarity with AI repositories such as Hugging Face or MLPerf.

  • Understanding of performance benchmarking with models such as ResNet, BERT, DLRM, and real-world AI applications (e.g., LLMs, NLP, recommendation systems).

  • Strong understanding of hardware architecture and software stack impact on performance.

  • Ability to document technical topics clearly and communicate effectively with various audiences.
