THE ROLE:
This high-visibility individual contributor position is essential to the success of the Client Business Unit. Reporting to the Director of Client Finance, the Finance Sr. Manager plays a key role in influencing business decisions and driving cross-functional initiatives. This role involves analyzing financial data, conducting strategic assessments, and delivering actionable insights into profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and pricing decisions. It offers an exciting opportunity to shape AMD's financial strategy in a dynamic and innovative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for operational expenses, capital expenditures, and headcount planning.
  • Serve as the key finance business partner for the Client Business Unit team.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide decision support for customer programs and special projects.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and planning to inform pricing deals, revenue, and gross margin decisions.
  • Prepare and disseminate timely, accurate financial data to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Deliver actionable insights by identifying trends and addressing business issues to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate strategically with Corporate Financial Planning, Accounting, Sales & Regional Finance, and Business Unit Operations to align financial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement operational enhancements.
  • Own and validate reports, providing supporting documentation for business partners as required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven financial leadership experience supporting business leaders in high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Proactive and dynamic approach to work, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization or work independently.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a global, fast-paced, multi-site, high-tech environment is preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
