GUI Developer with System programming

 

THE ROLE: 

The Candidate will work as part of the Platform Tools software development group working specifically on developing Validation SW tools for next generation AMD microprocessors.

The Candidate should have good knowledge on GUI Development with C++ programming skills and System level software development experience.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work across engineering teams and subject areas spanning firmware and software.
  • Coordinate debug of issues and drive them to closure.
  • Pull together meetings, set up clear agendas and follow up on action items 
  • Deliver regular progress updates toward program goals 
  • Make tough decisions such as priority calls based on partial or incomplete data  
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement for the respective projects.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently drive tasks to completion 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Expertise in developing high-quality, reusable UI components using React with functional components and Hooks.
  • Good knowledge in managing application state using Redux Toolkit.
  • Strong knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+) skills, including asynchronous programming with promises and async/await.
  • Experience in implementing responsive, accessible user interfaces with semantic HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS-in-JS solutions.
  • Should have knowledge in integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, including handling errors, caching, pagination, and optimistic updates.
  • Able to write and maintain robust unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end tests with Cypress or Playwright.
  • Should optimize frontend performance through lazy loading, code splitting and monitoring Web Vitals.
  • Good understanding of bundlers (Vite, Webpack), package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm), and Git-based workflows for collaborative development.
  • Knowledge on C++ programming and python is must.
  • Good understanding of operating system internals is preferred (windows / Linux).
  • Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, planning, and technical leadership skills 
  • Various necessary soft skills such as ability to work with minimal input & directions, initiative and positive attitude.
  • Looking the candidates with experience of 4-10yrs.

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related engineering field.
