JD for H/W lab support Engineer For 8+
1. Lead setup and configuration of desktops, workstations, and servers, including racking, cabling, and peripheral integration.
2. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) across lab infrastructure for various test environments.
3. Manage and track hardware inventory including allocation, returns, and lifecycle status using asset management tools.
4. Handle silicon placement/removal, including CPUs, GPUs, memory modules, and custom boards, ensuring ESD-safe practices.
5. Procure lab hardware and components, coordinate with vendors, and manage procurement cycles and delivery schedules.
6. Perform board-level rework and debugging, including minor soldering and coordination with repair teams for complex issues.
7. Allocate hardware resources efficiently across engineering teams based on project requirements and priority.
8. Document lab procedures, hardware configurations, and maintenance logs; maintain clear and accurate records.
9. Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and compliance, including regular audits and adherence to ESD and safety protocols.
10. Support cross-functional engineering teams in hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging activities as needed.
