THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate will support AMD business units and project teams to support implementation of effective security strategies and solutions to secure the business.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will support business and IT teams to ensure alignment with AMD security policies, business risk tolerance and industry best practices. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with senior enterprise security architects to contribute to AMD's Enterprise Security Architecture practice, support the design and implementation of AMD's Enterprise Security Strategy and solutions that enable secure and timely business delivery. 
• Conduct threat research and support development of executive threat briefs to provide business context to emerging security threats, tactics, and techniques to drive user awareness and diligence.
• Support the review system security designs and controls and recommend security enhancements based on identified gaps in security architecture.
• Document and maintain accurate view of enterprise security risks in centralized risk repository.
• Maintain security risk metrics and dashboards for executive leadership with support of InfoSec and IT teams.
• Conduct annual reviews of security architecture artifacts to ensure alignment with AMD security policy and industry best practices.
• Support Business Information Security Officer program to enable executive security awareness and risk mitigation across the enterprise.
• Support the development of topic-specific guidance publications and security training for business teams.
• Assist in delivering executive-level security communications and presentations.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships and trust with key stakeholders across business units and corporate areas (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Information Technology, etc.).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year of professional security experience 
• Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills.
• Must maintain knowledge of latest security, technology trends and predictions.
• Able to effectively communicate, interact and influence business stakeholders.
• Have basic knowledge of information security and risk frameworks/standards (e. ISO 27001/2, NIST SP 800-53, NIST CSF).
• Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt information based on the audience.
• Be highly organized and self-reliant, with the ability to multi-task.
• Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and SharePoint software.

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BS/MS preferred.  
• SANS, MCSE, RHCSS, CISSP, CISA, CISM certification(s).
