THE ROLE:
As the Red Team Lead, you will orchestrate simulated cyber-attacks to test the resilience of our AI solutions, applications, network and security systems. You'll be the mastermind behind identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our defenses, devising strategies to counteract threats, and working closely with our Cybersecurity Team to enhance the overall security of a global organization. THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-tasking skills and passion for details and should think one step ahead of cyber-criminals. You should be well-prepared to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possessing good interpersonal and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, plan, and execute advanced penetration tests and red team operations.
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to simulate realistic threat scenarios.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Team to ensure effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements.
- Generate comprehensive reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in cybersecurity, with a solid foundation in red team/penetration testing.
- Experience in a leadership role within a cybersecurity team.
- Strong knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, ISO27001).
- Proficiency in various penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with AI Red Team exercises and competency in AI application attack tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think like an attacker.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BS/MS preferred
- CEH, SANS, CISSP, CISM certification(s) preferred
