THE ROLE

AMD's Developer Programs team is central to how we engage with the global developer community, and we are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to help expand that impact. This role is focused on driving awareness, adoption, and engagement around AMD's game development software technologies and features available through GPUOpen, AMD's open-source game and graphics developer hub, including technologies such as FSR, Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Developer Tool Suite, and more.

Based in Poland, this is a global role that sits at the intersection of technical marketing, games industry engagement, and developer community building. The successful candidate will own the strategy and execution of developer-focused marketing campaigns, content programs, and event marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal partners and external agencies to deliver measurable, high-impact results.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented marketing professional who takes initiative and operates effectively with a high degree of independence. They identify opportunities, develop a plan, and drive execution, bringing a strong sense of ownership to everything they do. They are data-driven, establish clear KPIs, measure performance rigorously, and continuously refine their approach based on insights.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of developer audiences, particularly within the games industry, and will know how to engage them effectively without necessarily being a developer themselves. They will understand what motivates developers, what content they consume, what events they attend, and what drives them to adopt a new technology or tool.

Strong communication skills are essential. The candidate must be an exceptional communicator, both in writing and in person, with excellent English language skills that enable them to represent AMD confidently on a global stage. They must be comfortable working across time zones, cultures, and functions, and able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns targeting game developers and technical audiences, driving awareness and adoption of AMD software technologies available through GPUOpen, including FSR, Radeon Anti-Lag, and developer tools solutions.
  • Own the content marketing strategy for developer programs, including blog posts, technical articles, videos, tutorials, social content, and developer-facing collateral that communicates the value of AMD's game development tools and features.
  • Identify, plan, and execute AMD's presence at key games industry and developer events such as GDC, Gamescom, and developer summits, including pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns, managing logistics in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Define KPIs for all campaigns and programs, track performance, report on results, and leverage data to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget for developer programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and full accountability for expenditure.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, content creators, and vendors to scale campaign execution while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
  • Partner closely with AMD's engineering, product, and developer relations teams to ensure marketing programs are technically accurate, timely, and aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Support and amplify AMD's presence within the game developer community, including open-source ecosystems and developer community platforms.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on technical marketing, games marketing, game development, or content marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience marketing to developer audiences, with a clear understanding of how to engage technical communities effectively.
  • Background working at or with game developers, publishers, game engine companies, content development studios in games, film, or similar creative-technical industries, or related technology companies.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and collaborating with external agencies and vendors.
  • Experience with event marketing in the games or developer technology space.
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization and collaborating across regions and time zones.
  • Experience with developer community platforms and open-source ecosystems, including tools and communities such as GitHub, Discord, and developer forums, with a proven ability to build engagement within technical communities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required, as this is a global role.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Familiarity with game development workflows, engines, and toolchains such as Unreal Engine and Unity is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is a strong advantage.
  • An understanding of GPU technologies, graphics APIs such as DirectX and Vulkan, real-time rendering concepts, or AI and machine learning technologies as they relate to graphics and game development is beneficial. The ability to learn and communicate technical concepts clearly is key.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and analytics tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, or Google Analytics for campaign tracking and reporting.
  • A genuine interest in gaming and game development.
