THE ROLE:

As a member of the Technology and Product Engineering team, you will help lead AMD's efforts in secure device provisioning and silicon provenance. This role involves working across engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to design and implement scalable security solutions that protect intellectual property, ensure device authenticity, and support traceability throughout the semiconductor lifecycle.

You will contribute to the development of secure provisioning methodologies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure AMD products meet evolving security and regulatory standards.

 

THE PERSON:

You are a collaborative and technically strong engineer with a passion for secure systems and supply chain integrity. You bring a system-level perspective, excellent communication skills, and a track record of working effectively across diverse teams. You are comfortable translating complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions and enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and implement secure provisioning flows for AMD products.
  • Develop automated, high-volume secure provisioning methodologies.
  • Architect cryptographic solutions for authentication, encryption, and key management.
  • Drive silicon provenance initiatives: traceability, audit protocols, metadata.
  • Support customer engagements for secure provisioning and data transfer.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and security standardization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Good knowledge of cryptographic standards (AES, RSA, ECDSA) and post-quantum algorithms.
  • Familiarity with secure key storage (eFUSE, OTP) and provisioning flows.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with device traceability, metadata (HBOM), and supply chain security.
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing and secure provisioning systems.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with proven experience in hardware security, cryptographic provisioning, or semiconductor manufacturing.
