THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to serve as the primary Data Center GPU Business Unit (DCGPU BU) representative for key industry and partner events. In this role, you will coordinate closely with AMD's corporate events team and cross-BU stakeholders to ensure Instinct priorities, messaging, demos, partner participation, and executive engagements are effectively represented at major events.

THE PERSON:

This Product Marketing Manager is responsible for DCGPU BU inputs, alignment, and execution readiness, ensuring all deliverables are defined, tracked, approved, and successfully executed in partnership with corporate events and other internal teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and execution-oriented, with experience supporting events and a strong interest in AI and data center technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary Instinct BU point of contact for industry, partner, and customer events led by AMD corporate events and provide timely BU inputs across scope, priorities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Internally own and track all Instinct-related event deliverables, ensuring alignment across product marketing, product management, business development, sales, and communications.
  • Define and manage Instinct-specific event deliverables, including product messaging, booth narratives, demos, sessions, partner showcases, and executive engagements; ensure timely internal reviews and approvals, and proactively escalate risks or gaps to enable smooth execution.
  • Support development and adaptation of AMD Instinct™ product messaging for use in event contexts by translating core product positioning into event-ready assets such as session abstracts, demo descriptions, booth content, and internal briefs.
  • Coordinate with business development and partners to enable customer and partner participation featuring AMD Instinct products and help surface and package compelling ecosystem stories that reinforce AMD's AI and data center momentum.
  • Support Instinct executive and subject-matter expert participation at events, including content coordination, briefing materials, and schedule alignment.
  • Work with internal teams to confirm staffing plans, roles, and responsibilities for Instinct representation at events.
  • Provide BU-level budget inputs and forecasts to corporate events; track Instinct allocations and spend against plan.
  • Support post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations from an Instinct BU perspective.
  • Partner closely with corporate events, product marketing, product management, business development, sales, communications, and external agencies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in hospitality management, event planning, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating internal stakeholders and supporting industry or partner events.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
