THE ROLE:
Join AMD at the forefront of AI innovation! In this role, you'll be deeply involved in cutting-edge AI development projects, including LLM and generative AI initiatives, helping AMD improve efficiency through advanced AI solutions. You'll work closely with the CGC AI team, supporting strategic programs that span multiple domains.

 

This position offers broad exposure to diverse projects and teams across AMD, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders in North America and Asia. You'll play a key role in tracking project status, driving alignment, and ensuring successful delivery of AI-driven solutions that shape the future of computing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the CGC AI team to understand priorities and collaborate globally with teams in North America and Asia to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track and manage the status of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with AMD's AI strategy.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains through AI-powered solutions.
  • Provide strong program management for cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and delivering results.
  • Keep knowledge-bases, web pages, Confluence pages, Jira, and eductional content current
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and executives, providing clear updates and actionable insights.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in program/project management with complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts, especially in AI and software development.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience evaluating risks and presenting solutions to leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, LLMs, and generative AI applications.
  • Program management experience in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry functions, including graphics firmware, driver software, and platform hardware.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline 
  • Program Management certification a plus
