THE ROLE:

We are seeking highly motivated Machine Learning intern/co-op to join our team. In this role –

• We will involve you in training Generative AI models (involving Large Language models (LLMs), vision-language or large multimodal models (LMMs) and text-to-image/videos models) on our GPU clusters
• Your responsibility will include doing research on improving training speed, memory consumption and compute usage.
• Your work will involve doing ablations over various types of foundation model architectures, data sampling techniques, training recipes, etc. 
• We will help you learn innovative new technologies in this field
• You get to publish work in top AI/ML conferences

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong development and debugging skills in Python 

• Experience in deep learning frameworks (like PyTorch) and distributed training tools (like DeepSpeed or FSDP)  

• Experience with instruction following & alignment methods as well as parameter efficient fine-tuning techniques (like LoRA) 

• Fundamental understanding of transformers and other recent architecture types  

• Knowledge about the latest research done in at least one of the three above verticals – LLMs, LMMs, text-to-images/videos models 

• Good communication and problem-solving skills 

• Preference will be given to candidates with publications but not necessary 

• Pursuing advanced degree (MS or PhD) in machine learning, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field in top Indian universities. Exceptional folks pursuing Bachelor's degree may also be considered. 
• Passion to learn and try out new things.
