THE ROLE:
The Operations Manager will integrate key functions of sales operations responsibilities and sales transformation planning & execution. Adept at operationalizing excellence with a deep understanding of the IT industry ecosystem (semiconductor, MNC, Channels & Partners), strong data driven acumen, and a proven track record in driving sales and operation initiatives. The successful candidate will work with his/her team across APJ , support the APJ leader to align business goals with operational execution and contribute to transformative projects that enhance AMD's performance and market position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Operations Functions:
- Work cross functionally with in-region operations and HQ operation team to manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and focus on the critical delivery.
- Analyze operational performance data and lead efforts to optimize business processes.
- Review and monitor the key performance indicators across the organization and bring to the fore any critical deficiencies that need attention
- Plan and execute sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and measuring progress against KPIs.
- Monitor Sell-in, Sell-thru, Sell Out, E2E reporting and analysis.
Sales Transformation:
- Develop and execute innovative sales tools and processes to meet evolving market demands and customer needs.
- Support sales team to address challenges, refine sales processes, and enhance customer. BU, Segment and MNC engagement and satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the APAC leadership team and various departments.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Engage and contribute to Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Business data analysis and key Initiative updates.
- 8-10 years of experience within the technology industry, with proven expertise in operations management, finance and sales transformation.
- Finance working experience is preferred.
Skills:
- Exceptional data analytics, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in driving operational efficiency and sales performance.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excel in data manipulation, analysis , modelling and presentation. (Experience with Power BI advantageous)
- Experience in pipeline management through the utilization of SFDC and associated systems
- Experience engaging with MNCs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in project management and strategic planning methodologies.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance , Business Administration, Management or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
