THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a Senior Manager to drive AMD's AI sell-in and design-in efforts with Dell, with a primary focus on AMD Instinct™ GPU platforms. This is a highly visible, individual contributor role responsible for executing design-in strategies, influencing technical and business stakeholders, and accelerating platform adoption and revenue growth at one of AMD's most strategic Server OEM partners. 

 

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally across AMD Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, while serving as a key day-to-day interface to Dell across product management, engineering, CTiO and procurement organizations. This role requires strong technical depth, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Own and drive AI GPU sell-in and design-in activities with Dell, focused on AMD Instinct™ platforms 

  • Serve as the primary IC lead for Dell AI GPU design-in execution across product management, engineering, CTiO, and procurement organizations 

  • Partner closely with AMD Product Group and Engineering teams to align Dell requirements with product roadmaps and development priorities 

  • Influence Dell product planning and platform decisions through technical, commercial, and value-based engagement 

  • Collaborate with AMD Sales and Operations teams to support pipeline development, forecasting, and deal execution 

  • Drive cross-functional alignment internally to ensure timely execution of customer commitments and program milestones 

  • Support joint go-to-market and enablement efforts with Dell to accelerate platform adoption in market 

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Dell stakeholders across Product, Engineering, CTiO, and Procurement 

  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the account and proactively drive resolution 

  • Provide regular updates and insights to AMD leadership on program status, customer feedback, and growth opportunities 

  • Time sensitive responses to partner and key AMD stakeholders is a must 

 

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Demonstrated success in OEM or hyperscale account roles focused on design-in, platform adoption, and development 

  • Strong understanding of data center GPUs, AI accelerators, and enterprise server platforms 

  • Proven experience influencing large, complex organizations in a matrixed environment 

  • Background partnering closely with product management and engineering teams 

  • Track record of executing design-in or product development plans from concept through launch and sustaining 

  • Ability to balance technical depth with commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS 

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related technical field preferred 

 

 

LOCATION 

Austin, TX or remote/hybrid for the right candidate with ability to travel
