THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking an ASIC / IP Program Management Analyst to support the execution of pre‑silicon IP and SoC development programs. This role offers hands‑on exposure to how mixed‑signal IP is developed and integrated into complex SoCs, while working closely with experienced engineers and program managers.
You will contribute to program tracking, cross‑team coordination, and execution support, helping ensure predictable delivery while continuing to build experience in silicon program management.
THE PERSON:
This role is suited for an early‑ to mid‑career professional with prior experience in project or program management, who is interested in working within ASIC and IP development environments. You will support program execution across mixed‑signal IP and SoC development teams, helping ensure activities are well‑coordinated, tracked, and communicated.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with engineering teams. You are eager to deepen your understanding of pre‑silicon development processes, can follow established execution frameworks, and are able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support planning, tracking, and coordination for mixed‑signal and high‑speed interface IP development programs
- Work with analog, digital, verification, and SoC integration teams to help align activities and deliverables
- Maintain schedules, action items, and milestones aligned with pre‑silicon development phases
- Gather status updates from engineering teams and assist in preparing clear and concise program reports
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate concerns to senior program managers when needed
- Support documentation efforts, including meeting notes, readiness checklists, and integration requirements
- Use standard project and program management tools to support execution, following established processes and best practices
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in project or program management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
- Basic understanding of ASIC, SoC, or IP development lifecycles
- Interest or exposure to mixed‑signal or high‑speed interface IP is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or similar tracking tools
- Experience working in cross‑functional teams and supporting multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑up skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
