Senior Program Manager – Physical AI
Role OverviewThe AI Senior Program Manager leads end‑to‑end execution of AI programs—from concept through deployment—working cross‑functionally with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders. This role requires a strong blend of technical AI understanding, strategic planning, and program leadership to deliver high‑impact AI/ML initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Execution- Lead AI/ML programs spanning software, platform, embedded systems, or applied AI use cases.
- Define program scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks.
- Drive execution from inception to completion; manage risks, dependencies, and cross‑functional alignment.
- Translate business goals into AI delivery roadmaps and ensure measurable outcomes.
- Partner with engineering, product, data science, operations, legal, customer teams, and leadership.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, program updates, and decision‑making forums.
- Serve as the primary interface with internal and external stakeholders; represent the program in reviews and customer settings.
- Work closely with AI/ML engineering teams to deliver features, models, and AI platform capabilities.
- Support model lifecycle, data governance, and MLOps processes (monitoring, retraining, version control).
- Stay updated on GenAI, LLMs, toolchains, and AI development workflows to guide roadmap decisions.
- Track KPIs related to program performance, model adoption, and business impact.
- Prepare program financial reports, forecasts, release plans, and compliance documentation.
- Drive change management across engineering and business teams.
- Mentor AI engineers, data scientists, and PMO contributors; build high‑performing cross‑functional delivery teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of program management experience, with at least 3–5 years in AI/ML programs or technical program management.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder AI/ML programs at scale.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies:
- ML model development & deployment
- Predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, generative AI
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in embedded systems, IoT, or edge AI (relevant to AMD use cases).
- Hands‑on proficiency with AI/ML pipelines, data tooling, or Python/Databricks.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience with AI platform productization or enterprise-scale deployments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to influence without authority across engineering and business teams.
