THE ROLE:
Join the AMD IP team to engage in IP design work for the latest SoC development and advance AMD's technological leadership together.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in IP design based on the architectural requirements for next-generation AMD SoCs. Develops RTL code for IP blocks in Verilog HDL, ensuring that the functionality is correct and reusable across different product lines.
- Deals with complex problems.
- Makes technical decisions.
- Coaches and mentors junior staff.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- The candidate has one or more of the following domain experiences and knowledge
- USB(4.0/3.x/2.0/1.1 Host/Device/OTG) system
- X86/ARM/8051 architecture
- AMBA(AXI/AHB/APB) bus
- PCI-E/PCI bus
- Expert in Verilog RTL design on large-sized digital IP.
- Good English in technical discussions, presentations, and writing technical documents.
- Work is performed with limited supervision. Strong sense of task scheduling and delivering on time, as predetermined milestones are committed to the manager.
- Can solve complex, novel, and non-recurring problems.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- MS/BS degree in EE or CS, with a minimum of 7/9 years' experience.
