THE ROLE:

We are looking for a candidate who can manage and drive external suppliers on delivering or exceeding target performance in New Product Introduction, Supplier Manufacturing Operations, Quality and Reliability issue free processes, and Pathfinding new capabilities. The successful candidates must be a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines, have a drive for solutions and an aptitude to thrive with the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. He or she would have in-depth technical knowledge, excellent cross functional project management skills, conflict management skills, strong interpersonal skills with good presentation & communication skills. Demonstrating strong leadership to excel in his/her work with minimum supervision and strong interest to develop a career in AMD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for leading end-to-end memory quality & yield improvements
• Coordinate memory component failure analysis activities including root-cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement to improve the quality
• Work closely with memory suppliers and internal teams to assure new memory product readiness and ensure performance meets the key quality and reliability metrics
• Work with supplier on new facility qualification
• Occasionally quality audits at supplier site to ensure supplier quality practice
• Provide disposition on out-of-control lots in Material Review Board (MRB)
• Assist in additional duties as deemed fit by supervisor / manager
• Plan and execute change management (PCN) from internal or external parties

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of significant experience in the memory industry
• Strong knowledge in memory industry including FMEA & Control Plan methodology
• Strong understanding of memory wafer fab process, package assembly process, testing, and firmware.
• In-depth knowledge of memory quality and reliability concept including qualification report and JEDEC reliability standard
• Familiar with physical FA technique such as C-SAM, SEM, TEM, FTIR, Hot Spot Analysis…etc.
• Supplier quality management experience and a deep understanding of problem-solving tools including 8D principle and statistical process control principles
• Experience with data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or JMP
• Dedicated and able to work with minimum supervision

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor/MS degree in Engineering
