LOCATION:  Taipei, Taiwan

ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the LOCATION office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite. (flexible)

PROGRAM TERM:

• 6 months (flexible), Start Date July 1st, 2024 - Dec end, 2024

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The AMD University Program is seeking an intern with an interest in heterogenous accelerated computing applications AMD GPU.

In this role you will be developing in the key library for AI workloads. Including,

• Developing the method to improve the library's capability.
• Analyzing and improving the performance / workload of the library at the system level.
• Debugging and resolving issues, helping to improve the library's quality.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong C/C++/Python programming skills
• Strong Linux Operating System knowledge
• Strong with Computer Architecture knowledge

WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:

• Familiarity with parallel programming.
• Knowledge of GPU computing (CUDA, HIP, OpenCL) is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork & problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Studying towards Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related subject
