Spring 2026 Software Development Engineer Intern
As an AMD intern, you'll be placed at the epicenter of the AI ecosystem, working alongside experts and industry pioneers. You'll do important work, learn new skills, expand your network, and gain real-world experience on projects that impact millions of end-users worldwide. Whether you're an undergrad or a PhD student, your contributions matter—and your experience here will be a launchpad for what comes next.
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Dublin, Ireland
- Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite from the Dublin office throughout the duration of the intern term.
- Duration: Students must be available to start on January 15th 2026 and finish on August 14th 2026
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineering intern to join our team. In this role –
- You will be joining a team making quantization software for AI.
- You will be writing code to add features to our product but you will be coached so you don't need to know about quantization in advance.
- You will work with some of the latest AMD hardware.
- You will participate in team meetings and help plan the development of the product.
- You will learn about state of the art AI software.
- You will learn how to work as a professional software developer in an industry team.
- You will participate in social and learning events as part of the internship programme with the other interns.
- You will have the opportunity to give presentations and talks on topics of interest.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are currently enrolled in an Ireland based university a program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –
- You have computer programming skills
- A machine learning background is ideal but not required
- Familiarity with Python, Jupyter notebooks, PyTorch, and version control is a plus but not required
