THE ROLE:
The Sr. Business Planning Specialist will work closely with Sales teams, Global Operations and the BU Planning team to ensure supply availability from new product release and ramp throughout the product lifecycle via strategic initiatives, tactical execution and cross functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong communication, teamwork and business acumen.
THE PERSON:
The Sr. Business Planning Specialist for the Client Business Unit is a professional who analyzes multiple demand signals and consolidates into a single actionable plan using a combination of technical, analytical and interpersonal skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for submitting weekly build plan that comprehends backlog, sales forecast, and BU buffer plan that enables the Client BU to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
- Analyze historical data, product trends, and market / customer insights to ensure forecasts that support the business goals while minimizing inventory exposure
- Work with Sales, Global Operations, Logistics, BU and Product Engineering teams to ensure supply-demand matching
- Support Sales & Operations Planning processes (S&OP)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- High proficiency in Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables and VLookups
- Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner that is tailored for the appropriate audience
- Supply Chain and Operations experience in a manufacturing organization
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience in semiconductors or manufacturing organizations is advantageous.
