The Role:

If you have that special blend of deep technical prowess & great business savvy that makes an extraordinary Systems Product Manager - we have an exciting role for you! As a part of the AMD Data Center Solutions team, you will be responsible for building an integrated roadmap across CPU, GPU, Networking and systems organizations. You will work closely with each of the business units to enable this and provide feedback back to the business unit product management teams ensuring that the customer requirements and any cross organizational dependencies are well understood and executed upon in a timely fashion.

 

The Person:

As a Senior Director of Product Management in the Data Center Solutions Group, your influence will be broad within AMD, with our partners, customers, and industries that rely on a sound integrated roadmap for complete solution from AMD.  The successful candidate will be self-driven and passionate about bringing new solutions to market through a complex ecosystem. She/he is a dynamic product manager and leader who has strong experience with at least two or more of the following areas: CPU's, GPU's, Software, Networking, Servers, AI and Systems. This person has successfully developed customer-centric requirements and has worked with cross-functional teams to execute and deliver the roadmap to market. Your ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment is important, and you will rely upon your excellent communication and presentation skills during various customer and partner engagements.

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Build and drive deep engagements with various business unit product management organizations, CTO team and strategic customers to define and document an integrated AMD roadmap 
  • Work closely with process owners to implement a mechanism to ensure that we look at the integrated roadmap prior to approving new products and features getting onto the roadmaps
  • Use your strong product sense to align the product and platform capabilities with what matters to our customers (the value proposition) and develop powerful positioning, collateral and proof points to support the system narrative 

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Product management experience driving at least two of the following areas: CPU's, GPU's, Software, Networking, AI and Systems
  • Has prior experience in building and managing high performing teams 
  • Experience in a cross-functional role working across organizations such as engineering, CTO, sales and business development
  • Direct experience in building or managing cloud computing or enterprise infrastructure and technologies 
  • Successful management of technical products throughout their lifecycle 

 

Academic Credentials: 

  • Science or Engineering or Business University degree required
