THE ROLE:
We are seeking a visionary leader to establish and head a new team focused on integrating AI technologies into our Vivado EDA design tools. This role is central to driving innovation by leveraging Large Language Models and Agentic AI to enhance ease of use in FPGA design. As a strategic leader within the Vivado R&D organization, you will shape the initiative's direction, build the team, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
THE PERSON :
The ideal candidate is a seasoned organizational leader with a strong background in FPGA design methodologies and tool development. You are experienced in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and influencing strategy at multiple levels. You possess a deep understanding of emerging AI technologies relevant to Agentic AI and are passionate about pioneering innovative solutions from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establish and grow a dedicated AI-driven team within the Vivado R&D group.
- Define and align the strategy, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the AI integration initiative.
- Collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are met.
- Drive the execution of projects with a focus on innovation and fast-paced delivery.
- Stay at the forefront of AI trends and apply relevant technologies to enhance FPGA design tools.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and influencing multidisciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of FPGA design methodologies, including RTL and IP design entry, synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, simulation, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience in developing FPGA design tools.
- Strong familiarity with current AI technologies and trends, especially those applicable to Agentic AI, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Multi-Context Processing (MCP).
- Demonstrated creativity and passion for building innovative products and solutions from scratch.
