THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a Senior FAE solution architect located in Beijing who is specializing in x86 architecture and performance tuning, responsible for optimizing end-to-end technical solutions based on x86 architecture, focusing on system performance bottleneck analysis, tuning, and optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure end customers' technical issues on AMD EPYC platforms have been solved in time.

 

This role will involve technical pre-sales support, customer requirement analysis, and the promotion of best practices in x86 architecture and performance optimization.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  1. 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, x86 architecture design, or performance tuning.
  2. Proficient in x86 architecture (Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC series), with in-depth understanding of CPU architecture (core, cache, frequency), memory management (DDR4/DDR5), I/O subsystems, and network architecture.
  3. Rich experience in Linux system (openEuler, CentOS, Ubuntu) performance tuning: proficient in kernel parameter optimization, CPU/memory/I/O/network tuning, and familiar with performance monitoring tools (top, sar, vmstat, perf, iostat, etc.).
  4. Experience in optimizing high-performance solutions (HPC, data center, semiconductor manufacturing systems preferred), with the ability to solve complex performance bottlenecks.
  5. Familiar with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in x86 environments, with experience in virtualized/containerized system performance tuning.
  6. AI related experience is a big plus
  7. Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), able to independently write technical solutions, deliver technical presentations, and communicate with international teams or customers.
  8. Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and teamwork spirit; able to work independently and efficiently under pressure.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
