AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the AI and HPC landscape. THE ROLE:  

We're seeking a highly qualified technical program manager and chief of staff who can serve as a strategic right hand, thought partner, and force multiplier for our AI Customer Solution Engineering organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and managing the organization's business process, systems, and workflows and acting as an internal consulting strategist and project manager in helping the organization maximize efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with experience in management, HR, strategy, operations, and/or project management roles and additional functional expertise in validation, firmware & software development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Collaborate with silicon, SW, FW architects, post-silicon bring-up leaders, and validation experts to define and execute debug and customer co-engineering strategies.
  • Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming and identifying solutions to challenges, especially in the area of resource allocation & prioritization.
  • Support executive with any of the following: strategic planning; project management, action planning, hiring, team management, budget management; and human resources.
  • Plan, organize, and run meetings with internal and external stakeholders and own follow-up action items across engineering domains, including validation, development, customer technical meetings.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and technical excellence, while mentoring senior engineers and technical leaders.

PREFERRED SKILLS:  

  • High adaptability, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities shift quickly.
  • Experience in debug, validation, FW/SW development roles involving OS, FW, Silicon, and HW issues, with a strong emphasis on GPU technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of leading multiple work streams within tight deadlines.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or Engineering with 10+ years of applicable experience, with a significant portion in GPU technologies and customer-facing roles.

LOCATION: 

Santa Clara, California or Austin, Texas Preferred. Open to Remote Work
