THE ROLE:

As a Sr. Product Manager, AMD PRO Manageability within the Client and Graphics Product Management team, you will own the end-to-end product management for Client Manageability. You will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the Client Manageability roadmap. You will do this by staying in close touch with PC OEMs and end customers, understanding their needs and pain points and translating them into roadmaps with the right prioritization. You will work closely with other product managers, engineering, program management, product marketing, business development, and sales teams to drive successful outcomes with our customers and partners like Microsoft. You will be the CEO of your product, driving strategic and tactical outcomes through influence and partnership.

 

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will be…

  • Self-driven, independent and passionate about bringing new solutions to market through a complex ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with PC manageability ecosystem and understanding of ITDM workflows.
  • A bias for action and ownership, with the ability to drive clarity in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Build a market leading roadmap for AMD PRO Manageability.
  • Work closely with internal architecture and engineering teams to enable the requirements that will deliver the best manageability experience on AMD client portfolio.
  • Develop a data driven prioritization framework with a customer first approach.
  • Author MRD/PRD documents for AMD PRO Manageability.
  • Drive deep engagements with strategic customers to define and document the next-gen manageability requirements. 
  • Collaborate with Microsoft to define joint initiatives that deliver best manageability experience of AMD on Microsoft.
  • Author crisp and compelling product value proposition and influence marketing. 
  • Collaborate with HW product management, engineering, marketing and business development to ensure alignment of product goals and deliverables.
  • Create collateral and proof points to support positioning and narrative.
  • Present and evangelize your product and strategy internally and externally.
  • Take care of the operational details, working with stakeholders to ensure product delivery on-time, issue resolution and customer support.

 

 

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

  • Proven experience in product management, particularly in client manageability and related software products.
  • Ability to write clear and succinct product/feature requirements.
  • Knowledge of the hardware and software ecosystem and successful management of technical products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Experience developing strong collateral and presenting.
  • Strong business analytics experience, comfortable working with data

 

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred
