Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Product Marketing Managers to Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Create end-to-end solution demonstrating AMD semiconductor products in vision applications. Perform benchmarking of AMD technologies/solutions to show AI benefits over competitive products in vision space. Responsible for the strategy and roadmap of the entire company in machine vision, retail, smart city, and security vision markets and its applications globally. Plan and modify product configurations, features, or development to meet customer needs. Facilitate customer awareness and education on using company technology in machine vision, retail, smart city, and security vision applications. Perform analyses in vision market and associated technologies, teasing out the major and minor value propositions for the customer. Develop solutions and Go-To-Market strategies including requirements creation, Statements of Work, Proof of concepts, collateral creation, develop business plan, outbound marketing, and sales training. Contribute to strategic planning guiding the future of products in target markets. Work across product planning, engineering, marketing, business management, sales, and ecosystem partners. Maintain and expand company ecosystem partners in areas of sensors, connectivity, AI/ML, and ISP. Communicate and present technical concepts, results of data collection/benchmarking, customer feedback/next-generation product requirements in a compelling manner that drives action internally and externally. Author technical product documentation as needed. Plan and manage presence at tradeshows and/or conferences.

Travel required: Requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.         

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Four (4) years in the job offered or closely related technical product marketing role or engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related field, and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related technical product marketing role or engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

For either combination of education and experience, position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

  • Programming languages Python, C, C++, VHDL, or Verilog to develop adaptive SoCs;
  • Machine Learning and Deep Neural Networks in vision applications;
  • Adaptive SoCs and FPGAs in machine vision applications;
  • Preparing new product introduction materials for products in semiconductor industry;
  • Conducting application testing to guarantee products meet quality standards;
  • Performing strategic market planning, including customer interviews and market research;
  • Preparing reporting for, and articulating value propositions against, competing products; and
  • Preparing customer-facing technical whitepapers.
