THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive demand for AMD-based products across APAC, India, and Japan (APIJ) for our Taiwan-based multinational corporations (including Acer, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and others). This individual will be responsible for establishing the APJ sales strategy for nominated accounts and ensuring revenue and share goals are met. The role requires someone who can operate with the utmost integrity and trust, managing multiple projects by working cross-functionally with AMD's in-country sales and marketing teams, WW GAMs, and MNC teams. Success will be measured by the achievement of all revenue and unit goals.

  • Ability to listen to the customer and articulate their needs internally.
  • Demonstrated ability for longer-range strategic vision and planning.
  • International business experience, able to work across highly diverse and specialized geographies and cultures.
  • Comfortable presenting product information and sales strategies in front of large audiences (such as partner events).
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner and guide AMD APJ Consumer and Commercial Sales organizations on product alignment, positioning, account alignment, engagement strategy, and pipeline/forecasting cadence.
  • Define and implement sales-out strategies and account plans that grow AMD's revenue base and market share across APJ markets, working closely with WW GAM counterparts on execution.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with product and business management teams within nominated MNC accounts.
  • Drive strategic portfolio and go-to-market planning to capitalize on market opportunities with plans grounded by data.
  • Influence regional assortments and global design win conversations based on regional market knowledge.
  • Operationalize forecast and pipeline management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and provide executive-level reporting on overall program and market impact.
  • Build and deliver business cases for growth initiatives and sales-out programs; comfortable crafting marketing and sales programs from scratch.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to Sales leadership and WW GAM.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience working with MNCs within the APJ region.
  • Extensive experience in consumer/commercial sales with demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed target goals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the PC and/or semiconductor industry.
  • Proven experience in sales-related positions for PC DT/NB products.
  • Consistent track record of using and analyzing data, trends, products, and numbers to create impactful plans.
  • Experience with Excel (Pivot tables, generating charts etc), Powerpoint

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree
  • Bilingual desirable – Mandarin and English
