THE ROLE:

The Sr Sourcing Program Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing the successful onboarding and operational integration of suppliers to meet organizational goals. This role ensures that suppliers are fully prepared, compliant, and able to deliver quality products or services on time, while aligning with company standards and requirements ensuring supplier success and operational excellence.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage, and execute supplier program readiness to support new product launches, market expansions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to facilitate supplier onboarding, including documentation, training, and system integrations.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements to ensure readiness.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supplier network and implement mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and suppliers, providing updates, resolving issues, and facilitating collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Work with procurement, quality, and operations teams to streamline supplier readiness processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supplier readiness activities and prepare regular reports for management review.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in supplier management, program management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of supplier onboarding, compliance, and risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., ERP systems, project management platforms).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with global supplier networks is a plus.
  • Business operations management: Demonstrated ability to oversee and optimize day-to-day business processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Financial acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost controls to support operational decision-making.
  • Resource planning: Skill in allocating people, technology, and materials to support ongoing business needs and project objectives.
  • Change management: Proven experience leading teams or suppliers through business transitions, new systems, or process improvements.
