As an AMD Intern/Co-op, you'll be placed at the epicenter of the AI ecosystem, working alongside experts and industry pioneers. You'll do important work, learn new skills, expand your network, and gain real-world experience on projects that impact millions of end-users worldwide. JOB DETAILS:

Location: Fort Collins, CO
Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
Duration: May 18 - August 7, 2026

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are seeking highly motivated Analog/Mixed-Signal Engineering interns/co-ops to join our team. In this role:

  • We will involve you in the design and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits including ESD protection or voltage regulation.
  • We will assign you tasks related to the development and testing of new circuit designs and/or analysis and optimization of silicon performance.
  • We will train you to use industry-standard tools for simulation and layout.
  • Your responsibility will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met.

You will gain hands-on experience in circuit design, simulation, and testing, and have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You are currently enrolled in a US based University in a Master's program majoring in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • If you have knowledge/experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –
    • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • You are in your senior year or a graduate student.
    • You have experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
    • You are familiar with simulation tools such as SPICE.
    • You have a strong understanding of semiconductor device physics.
    • You have experience with layout tools and techniques
