THE ROLE:

The Test Engineer will oversee lab hardware setup and conduct tests across several projects in various development stages. From a technical perspective, execute test cases with validation tools and methodologies simultaneously on multiple hardware platforms, review test logs and complete test result documentation. Collaboration work with function teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of results.

THE PERSON:

Possesses the ability to quickly absorb information during regular training sessions, with a strong emphasis on self-learning. Demonstrates eagerness to discover the most efficient approaches and acquire new skills for personal growth. Exhibits excellent teamwork by communicating promptly with team members to resolve any pending issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, debug, test, repair and upgrade computer prototypes (computers, servers, peripherals, programs and software/firmware)
• Write procedures, various technical documents and maintain pertinent engineering records.
• Perform Lab management responsibilities to maintain and organize a clean, safe and efficient Lab.  Material management to organized inventory and tracking.
• Understand hardware/firmware/software interactions, test tools, methodologies and efficient execution.
• To diagnose the root cause of test failure and isolate the components.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• System integration test experience of server, storage, switch and GPUs.
• Fundamental understanding of computer architecture and components.
• Ability to use customized Linux and Windows based diagnostic, test programs to run benchmarks or tests.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.      TOEIC > 500 is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at various levels in the organization.
• Linux/Python/PowerShell script or any programming language is a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree or above is preferred.
