Job Posting: Calibration Technician III
Location: Raleigh, NC
Travel: Up to 50% as required
Position Overview:
As a Calibration Technician III, you will independently perform complex calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with GxP documentation. This role requires advanced technical expertise and the ability to provide solutions for client needs. You will also supervise smaller teams, lead small projects, and contribute to the development of client proposals and quotes. The role involves travel to client sites and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate documentation and compliance with PCI/client policies.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues at client sites.
- Manage small projects and supervise technicians on these projects.
- Identify and communicate potential business opportunities.
- Develop quotes and assist with complex proposals.
- Ensure that safety standards are met and oversee other technicians' compliance.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to onboarding efforts.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of calibration concepts, accuracy testing, and GMP regulations.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide technical solutions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage projects and small teams.
- Expertise with laboratory equipment (HPLC, chromatography, bio analyzers, etc.).
Education & Experience:
- A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Four years of relevant calibration, instrumentation, or metrology experience.
- Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
