Applied Industrial Tech-Cangro, a UL certified Panel Shop has an opening for a Senior Control System Engineer:

 

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Sales staff to develop and drive sales to the Panel Shop. Managing our in-house Control Panel Shop Providing field support over the phone and occasionally out in field. Instructing and working with our Panel Shop Technicians in the fabrication of our control panels. Procuring all the components used in the Panel Shop

 

 

Requirements

3+ yrs in the Design and Fabrication of Industrial Control Panels Equivalent to B.S. in Engineering or comparable design experience They should be able to design and draft small control systems using AutoAD Electrical including Schematics, Panel Layouts, Bill of Materials, Special Details, etc. Applicants need to be able to specify all the components of the control panel. Applicants need to know how to program PLC's and HMI's. Applied uses variable frequency drives (VFD's) in many of its motor control applications and knowledge of VFD programming and testing is required. Applicants should be experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels. Applicants must be familiar with the UL508A standard for Control Panels as all panels are designed and tested to these standards. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. A knowledge of SAP would be a plus, but is not required. Applied will provide software and office systems instruction.
