DES is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Systems Administrator. This position associates to a team of highly skilled technology driven individuals. This position will assist duties of daily support, maintenance, governance, and customer service of the enterprise records management system, Hyland's OnBase. The responsibilities include the ability to work in a team environment with enterprise level systems both pre-configured and newly developed architecture. This role will participate in product demonstrations, facilitate and present for governance and community practice meetings and provide industry best practice guidance to leadership, assist with software and server upgrades/audits, and follow the agency's change management practices. This position requires a self-motivated individual that can work with minimal direct supervision from the management team. This position will be required to keep the system up to date with mandatory updates, maintain system documentation (ie, run books), and prioritize workload to provide the most efficient support and coordination with all OnBase Container Administrators and customers apart from daily OnBase activities.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serves as the technology specialist for the Hyland OnBase Enterprise solution, resolves technical issues and problems. Serve as the Technical Specialist on DES Enterprise OnBase implementations such as Application Programming Interface (APIs), workflows, custom queries, disk group configurations, Advanced Capture (OCR), Document Import Processes (DIP) and Document Retrieval Import Processes (DRIP)
• Proactively and reactively provide advanced support for systems and solves complex problems. Actively participates in the design, development, and implementation for the DES Enterprise On-Base system. Support the team through development, creation, and implementation of testing scenarios and use cases. Support implementation of controls through creation of manuals, reports, and/or presentations using a variety of desktop.
• Leads initiatives to develop solutions and processes to meet needs; identifies unique innovative approaches. Develops and provides reports and audits of the DES Enterprise OnBase system. Maintain and support the physical DEE Enterprise OnBase infrastructure systems including Web, Applications, and Databases.
• Performs system analysis, designs, constructs and tests infrastructure Provides 24/7 availability of OnBase resources. Actively participate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of DES Enterprise OnBase system architectural standards along with operating standards and policies.
• Reviews configuration change proposals for compliance to established standards, guidelines and policies. Ensure DES Enterprise OnBase system records are properly indexed for retrieval across all DES divisions. Provides recommendations for Enterprise OnBase system hardware, server, and networking products. Gather, analyze, and evaluate policy processes or procedures and obtain facts and explains complex information.
• Interprets and follows guidelines, policies, and procedures as it relates to the system and compliance. Actively participate in the design of Keyword type configurations. Actively participate in the architecture and implementation of Scan queues for scanning at intake facilities. Support DES Enterprise OnBase program, which includes analysis of both technical and business controls in support of overall monitoring strategy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
• Various infrastructure technologies and inhouse developed applications utilized in the enterprise.

• Install On Base required Thick or Unity Client(s) on desktops as needed.
• Installs, monitors, and directs proactive and reactive computer network defense measures to ensure the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with DIP/ DRIP processes and scheduled jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Workflow and Timer issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the OnBase overlay feature, including configuring new Overlay(s) as requested by OnBase users.

Selective Preference(s):

This ideal candidate for this position will have:
• Hyland OnBase System Administrator Certification (Active)
• Hyland Onbase Workflow Certification
• PowerShell scripting, and SQL knowledge

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Employee shall obtain and maintain a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 41-1969.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 or more years of experience in systems administration (or equivalent experience).
• This position may require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
• Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency's ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement.
